Certelec is an established engineering consulting practice with offices in Eastbourne, East Sussex. The Directors and Staff have in excess of 30 years experience in engineering consultancy throughout both the UK and Overseas.
We have earned a reputation for producing high quality engineering solutions, and have wide experience in project supervision, i.e. design & refurbishment of Government (defence), commercial (retail - chains), residential (multi-occupational), industrial buildings, and marine environment (ports).
Our philosophy is based on the responsible use of primary energy distribution. Throughout our work, we aim by applied analysis, to reduce the energy requirements of installations and to use renewable energy when and where it is environmentally and economically appropriate to do so.

DISPUTES are an unfortunate fact in the construction Industry. Given, our long standing reputation and range of specialist, professional & field based (arbitration/mediation) involvement/s, we are called upon by both the Public sector and individual Clients to engage in a comprehensive assessment process, and to provide impartial, unbiased reports against the relevant Codes and Standards.
It is our experience that many buildings and construction disputes can be resolved without recourse to the legal process. We assess a situation before it becomes more costly to resolve. We take an wholly objective, constructive approach, and take time to understand how companies/individuals operate, then seek the most commercial and cost effective route toward avoidance or resolution.
This practice carries a full range of insurances including 'Professional Indemnity' Insurance cover for each Project. Copies of certificates are available upon request.
